I have been getting a lot of messages and comments about my Mom. My Mom died , she did not make it. After 4 heart surgery's in 5 days she was pronounced brain dead and her kidneys shut down 2 days later so they had to take her off of life support and let her go. It was the hardest thing i ever had to face in my life. Everyone told me the pain would get better but it seems to get harder everyday. I want to thank you all for your messages and prayers and I want to thank my special friends who have been here for me through all of this, and i dont know what i would have done without your moral and mental support and your love. She recovered her stoke very well and most of you know she was having open heart surgery on Monday, the surgery was very successful and she was doing very well until Thursday morning around 3 :45 am, something happen to her and her heart stopped.. they had to do CPR on her for over 10 minute and of course she lost a lot of oxygen to her brain. She was put on a ventilator and has not woke up since. Later Thursday afternoon she started loosing a lot of blood from the drain tubes coming from her chest so they had to do emergency surgery on her Thursday night and open her back up and repair a busted artery in her heart that busted during CPR. She made it once again through surgery and the bleeding stopped. Friday afternoon she started breathing on her own a little, not much but she passed the ventilator by a few points,  *it was very hopeful for us* Later on Friday she started loosing a lot of blood again.. 800 cc in 1 hour, again they would have to open her back up and fix the artery again * they didnt want to put her through surgery again* but i insisted they try to save her * and once again and they did  and she made it through heart surgery once again. Her vital signs were good again until last night and once again  the artery busted and she lost 1100 cc of blood in 1 hour. The team of surgeons once again saved her life.... she has gone through 4 heart surgery's since Monday and they told us that the 3rd one was a record for them and that they didnt think she would have survive the 2nd one. I have decided that all of the praying is keeping her here. The reason the artery keeps bursting is because it was the best artery they could find and it was very thin and the CPR damaged it. They can not put her under by pass again to replace it because her heart and body can not handle that in her condition so they are having to repair it.  They think they have fixed the artery but they are very concerned about her brain because she lost a lot of oxygen during CRP..she has not woke up since and has not responded to anything. My Mom had a stroke and i will be staying with her when she gets home from the hospital for some time. Maybe weeks maybe months depending on how fast she recovers or even if she recovers.
