In 1992, Sarah McLachlan was a singer songwriter with critical acclaim
in her native Canada and a small cult following elsewhere. Inspired by
her experiences working on a documentary about poverty in Asia, she
retreated to Montreal to write material for her next album. With a
quiet intensity rarely seen in pop music, Fumbling Toward Ecstasy,
released in 1993, would prove to be her most personal work to date, and
the breakthrough album that introduced the world to her exquisite,
powerfully emotive vocals and lyrics. Her music instantly connected
with the fans and catapulted her to the international stage, and by the
end of 1994, Fumbling reached platinum status after 62 weeks on the
chart. "Possession," the single from the album, received considerable
airplay, especially on modern rock radio, where it reached number 14.
"Good Enough" also found a home in that format, reaching number 16.

15 years since the original release of this double platinum,
Grammy-nominated album, this special anniversary Legacy Edition has
been compiled, which includes not only the original album, but also
includes the 1995 Fumbling Toward Ecstasy DVD and Freedom Sessions, a
collection of fascinating early versions of songs that appeared on
Fumbling and was certified gold. This three disc collection is
beautifully packaged and an ultimate collection for fans, and is
available for a limited time only, so order your copy now from Amazon
