most of indonesian ppls eat rice in they daily life ! few of them whose dont eat rice likes in papua (irian jaya), sulawesi,,,, they eat sago palm!
or ppls in java if we get food shortages, we eat cassava to change rice!

I dont know cassava. Many years and years ago there was a coffee shortage here...so the people began to drink chicory instead. Today, they still drink it.
