Privacy Settings

For me is no big deal, I don't bother setting this, if someone bugs me, they will be sorry they ever said hello to me to begin with, I can be some mean when I want to be.

As for women, they get too much men bugging them, but as I told them, if their setting is messed up, just block them off.

Of course if they are getting too many, it is nothing but a hassle for them to block all guys who bother them.

I hope they fix this soon, too many bugs on this site, and it's called improvement, yeah , whatever...lol

Is the settings form not saving? Or is the settings form saving all the options, but not protecting you from those unwanted people? Can everybody pm me and give me the username of the people that had contacted you, but shouldn't have been able to?

I made a update to my settings, to tighten access, pressed save and got



In essence I got a vanilla protection. I would suggest the server recognised the request, but either a write failure because of maintenance or whatever, and cleaned ever setting off. These thing happen (so many settings to put it back right, I would suggest maybe too many as one setting could control a number of factors).

If an update to the filters is being applied, could we have the privacy page locked, until the update is in ?

there was a save, but it was one that had all the values reset

If we had an amalgamation into three

1. albums, videos, journals, and gossip

2. basic

3. contact, personal, education, work, dating,

It seems to me you can, show what you want with fewer selection groups, easier to manage, the filters could be less complicated ( i couldn't imagine just showing work to the world without wanting to control other basic aspects of my life)

would also provide for quicker lookups and display

Interesting, the topic was moved. When i posted to general, i did so to ensure most users were aware and I was avoiding double posting. I can appreciate that support would be a second choice, but not everyone reads that. ho hum

Well I was wondering the same. I blocked people from Nigeria (because that's where most scammers come from).... yet I still get their messages!
