Ive won a lot of prices as young and teenager, mostly in sports. I don't care so much about the price,but the fact that I came first , one time they made me compete with the guys just to see how I did and I came third, i started to cry :) Competition can be fun, but ive realized that in the end It dosnt matter so much, its just for fun, or should be any way ;)

Nice to see you again, Maria! I think it's great you found your prizes in sports :-) I guess this means you are a prized-athlete!

Likewise! Well its not so great when it takes over the actual joy in doing the sport, you get angry and upset if your not one of the first, while you should enjoy more the fact that its fun and good for you :) Thats what i was trying to say :)

I would say i am a prize-winner but not in the way some people think of it....I have a job still, that is my prize. The company I work for went from 195 to 90 employees so it sure feels like a prize when i get my paycheck each week. I won the prize by not f*ing around at work and taking my job seriously.

Yea,tons of them.I wont so many,that i actually lost the value of the certificate/prizes :P. Its more like maria said,its all about fun,and rest is crap :P

I had good grades when I was in school, so I won some prizes.

More recently, an artwork of mine was selected among thousands of works from many countries... I still don't know if I won or not, but being a finalist made me feel great and confident about my skills.
