This is a reply to the topic SPAMMING FORUMS. Spamming is sending messages with identical content, or as it applies to the forum posting the same topic repeatedly. I don't think it happens, but when I reviewed some of the topics I posted have related or identical subjects posted in the days following the time I posted it. For my part I don't care, but since Nalla brought it out specifically hitting top activist, I was compelled to present my side. Check my reply to Roshni and that is my opinion on that issue.

seems funny if spamming is only for a rating ... I would appreciate the media forum as a place of communication and opinion all friends in the world .. when someone has a topic to be conveyed, it is very good, but if for a rating .. what it means to him / her ? yeah...every person has a personal opinion ... maybe he felt it was the best action

Now all of us know what is bothering you... and since you are bothered about all these.. rank and files, is where you are being ruled by something else.. and not by the subject.

People who get to the TOP are those who have a GREAT FALL as well..

This can also make you suspect genuine participant as someone who is competing for the position or rank, and ruin their participation.

In fact I myself never knew about all these until I saw this post to learn about the race that is going on.

This post was just an answer to the 2 topics posted by Nalla and another posted by Knight Rider. I do not expect them to do that just for the rating status, thus I was compelled to answer. I am NOT in the activists anymore (I requested to be out on top) so it is not my concern now. True, those who are on top are at risk to fall, but we are not talking here of success in grandstanding. This is just a silly ranking where the results are not even visible to all. In fact, now I cannot see it anymore.
This pure envy and attacks posted on me is silly. They should check where the loopholes lie before they react. It surely will boomerang on them. Now Nallas' accounts were banned/terminated. I hope this lame posts will stop. I don't care what people do with their lives, they should just know their limit. Definitely, I won't allow rubbish being shoved down my throat. I hope you understand my point, friend.

To do a quality judgement is meaningless, because quality of a topic should be related to the correct forum of posting.

Percentage counting of replies will bounce the values up and down massively (IMHO)

I would like voting down to be removed (therefore only an improvement could be shown, only takes three fake accounts to make a topic disappear

I want a button that marks all posts as read (i'm fed up having to open the same topic loads of times, just to clear the marker)

Want a lot, don't I :o) (IMHO)

i try to follow just this rule.it is a decent rule.

if someone chose activist this is the only rule for being so

by posting a topic YOU make more sensible the audience

it is an educational field

seeing the interest of your subject you can tune up the replies back and so you give a good feed back to increase the acknowledge of the subject for readers .

posting a topic not just for fun is like fishing...it is a sort of research process

you need skills..understanding of people needs regarding audience, ability and first at all responsibility...

recognition is not a prize ,it is for yourself ,to know how you reach the understanding of people here

i can say that Evan the topic end with few replies if votes are following the replay the topic is good and rocks

but if the replies are counted as 1/owner even there are much more than one if we look closer both above topics are at same level/at kath are 5 persons who reply and she get 4 votes.

upon above example zorpia/lexi can bring some more light on making a good hall of fame valuables topic

i will put kath's topic above thomas because he get good attention but many replies there are made just for some good fun and are quite funny jokes.

since when I give importance..? Now that she’s making me famous (negative publicity is still publicity – lol I’m running for Congress), and helped me raise the issue I was hoping to bring to the zorpia admin.
I was the first one to request to have my name removed out of the top activists Hall of Fame due to the attacks, and those top activists posting 3-4 topics a day to maintain the silly rank. When I got to talk with some friends...this was also the reason why they get out of the Hall of Fame top post. The silly competition sucks ...and thus I came with this experiment. I hope they now see the obvious. Either we choose Quality topics or Hall of Fame rubbish.

I believe spamming is sending or repeatedly posting messages/topics with IDENTICAL CONTENT.
I reviewed topics in the last few days . I checked on my topics first , and since the claim of spamming was on top activist I checked the other activists too. I realized Nalla has a point…some topics were identical or related to each other ….. though it cannot be strictly categorized as spamming as it is clearly modified, it can truly raise the eyebrows!

Eucky always make big fuss abotu Activists ranking. Its very childish.No one SHOULD hold that position forever. If they do, that will only show what a big loser they are, since they are spending all their hours ( might even losing on sleeps as well) in Zorpia. When I came to the first 10 of Acitivist group, I removed my name from the group. It was like a shame to me, seeing I have replied that much....and if you count how much each reply takes...Goshhh!! it was like a constant reminder of my stupidity. I felt deeply ashamed of wasting my time like that!!

But well...Seems like Eucky has no other thing to do, nowhere else to prove his worth. I have seen him doing the same thing with Japanise while they were absolutely fantastic in forums and kept it alive. He made a few Japanise leave the group, which was a big shame and the admin should have act on this. Now you are thinking to leave the group. I will not say its a healty group dynamic...or the members who act like that are healthy for the group. If I was admin, I would bann Eucky from Activists group. Honestly.

Saying this....I am sorry to be blant. I am not against Eucky, he is my friend too. I am just being honest here and gave my verdict. The way Eucky react in this matter is not healthy...and Nallah is encouraging him, just the way she always encourages negetive things.

All your observation is right. Honestly, Koch reminded me not to "test" the Hall of Fame to prove my point, but I see that it is happening again and again.....to my friends also. Thus, I am taking this bold step to appeal to the admin. Better remove this competition and voting counter. It sucks!

by the way, this topic does not appear in the topic list, like that of Nalla and Naughty. Something is being done to quiet the issue? Better take off the rubbish, not just cover it so it wont stink.

Not to address the real issue. The group is fine, but they should watch the members. Any group should have the authority to weed the group out!! :)

I think it isn't bad to suggest. So sad that some changes/complaints need to be raised the hard way. ...and all the time there are people causing fights/muddling up the issue, creating chaos.... i never understand their goals in life *sighs*

I used to try to care about my photography rank, until i found out what your ranked by is views, not content..
