The words seem nice at first; at least I never received an eloquent one like this before. To be honest, I was a bit touched at first by the power of those words. But after finishing it I kind of   stopped on my track and thought, "Hang on!  There is something wrong with this email. It's all about what she wants and what she needs. Its good when a woman know what she wants and what she needs, but the question is does she have anything to offer in the relationship as well? I am soo tocuhed by it. Everyday we hear some soldiers died in Iraq or in Afghanistan. It has kind of became a daily incedent thing, like  the share market news. We don't take any notice of them unless there is something really big happend. It has become part of our daily life. But the hurt locker made me see  the inside picture of those neses. It made me see what these soldiers go through everyday, how they live,  how they die. It was as if I lived that time with those soldires shareing their pain, their hardship, fregility of their life and the comradeship they share. All in all, its a must see movie for all of us who live a peaceful and quiet life away from all sorts of brutality. It makes us stop for a moment and think about the cruel and unfair things happening some other parts of the world. She is a mature student (28/29) and a Conservative. She is already a councillor of a local council, studying Law to become a fulltime Conservative politician. That is, apparently her career goal. She is always busy, talks about the shadow ministers in a ways that makes one believe they are her peers, talks about big meetings and interviews, newspaper interviews etc.  She is also the president of her local Young Conservative Group and a proud member of International Republican Party and never loses a chance to claim that Obama is an Illegal President. What I meant by all that is, she is not just only a sleeping member who merely supports the party and votes for them. She is an active member and aspires to become a minister in not so far future. Yesterday we had an hour to kill and a few of us were in the lounge together.  In the course of our chat/gossip/discussion one of our friends asked her a few questions. I am going to write down the conversation exactly the way it had been:   Friend: Hey A, do you know what is the population of UK? Politician: Wellâ€¦(takes a deep breath) itâ€™s is 3 billion. Friend and all of us: Wâ€¦what? Politician: What? Itâ€™s 3 billionâ€¦almost. Isnâ€™t it? Friend: Do you know what  is the world population at the moment? Politician: Of course I do! It said in One Tree Hillâ€¦its 7 billion. Friend: Soâ€¦you know world population is nearly 7 billion, and you thought half of it is in this small island? Politician: Wellâ€¦thatâ€™s what it looks like.  When I look around, it looks like half of the world population is in the UK. Friend: Okeyâ€¦tell us, how much is the mean wages for a full time worker in the UK?  U know â€¦â€meanâ€? â€¦..Average? Politician: Donâ€™t patronise me!! Of course I know what is mean. Friend: Okâ€¦tell us, whatâ€™s the mean salary in the UK? Politician: I am sure, its Â£60,000 a year. Friend and all of us gasped together. Some even giggled. Friend: Do you have any contact with reality, A? Politician: You are getting into my nerve now, M! Of course I do. I am completely and entirely in touch with reality. My constituents love me! My Stuffs love me! Friend: Then how could you come to the conclusion that the average salary in the UK is Â£60,000 per year? Politician: Wellâ€¦thatâ€™s what most of the people I see gets!!I am sure  it must be something like that!   We had this conversation with her for almost 45 minutes.  That was the most entertaining conversation I had in a very long time (in a perverse way!). I donâ€™t want to bore you with farther details. Butâ€¦at the end I told her, you know what A? I am sure you are going to make a wonderful politician. People who are visibly inconfident and incompetent but trys to show they are some big shot.  These kind of people, they never see anything good in anyone, since they are insecure in their mind because of the fact deep down in their mind they know, they are incompetent. Moreover, to hide their own incompetency, they try to prove everyone around them are incompetent.   I hate most when I have to ask someone like that to give me a reference leller. Because I know, I am doomed! That kind of person will never right a posetive reference letter for anyone.   But thats what happend. The manager  from my work who I had as my referee, just to give me hard time when I needed her reference most, had to quit job because of some "differences of opinion" with the ceo. Now...I am cought between the fork! Since she is not working there, she can not be my professional referee anymore. Instead of her, I have to ask this horriblely incompetent to write me a reference letter. I am already half convince that, I am doomed!   Shooootttt!! This is silly, I know...and I never ever ever felt like that about a man. I mean...I do have crushes at guys, feel attracted to guys but...looking at someone to see how they wrok...and then suddenly thinking...awwww....I wish he was my husband!! Its the dambest thought in the wrold, right?   I don't even know if he was married or not. But he was so amazing,  he has this  vibrant  confident personality of a successful lawyer, the way he was talking to the client, the way he was acting, his body language..i found them mesmerizing. There is nothing more attractive in a man than the vibrant confident personality. I was watching him work, watching him act...and suddenly...very suddenly it just hit me like a thunder strike! I just thought....oh Gosh! I wish he was my husband! ...and right at that moment he looked up at me and smiled...I  am sure I gone all red. I felt like he read my mind....Lollzzz   But...nah. He is just a successful lawyer in a law firm where I am doing some work experience. I will finish my work experience week tomorrow and we will never see each other again. ..and I am sure he is married. It was an interesting day. Was shocking too, to see how nervous the lady was when she had to sit infront of her ex husband. She was literally shaking all the time!! The husband was like a robot. Made me feel disgusted!!   This guy earns up to Â£165,000 a year. While last six months he earned a net of Â£6,000pm he was giving the lady Â£1,500 (a quarter of his earning!)  for the maintenance of 6 children, family home, mortgage, bills and the  for the lady herself. He only gave her half of the mortgage money although the wife never worked ( where did he thought the wife was going to get the rest half?). Its soo outragious to see how selfish one can get!! He was keeping 3/4 of the money for himself alone and gave a quarter to the wife for family maintanance. It is as if, you can get married, make children, ruin someones life and than walk  out of the responsibility anytime you want, keep all your money to yourself and go for a younger girl and start afresh!! It made me furious!! He made 6 kids with this lady over 24 years times. The lady spent best part of her life taking care of kids and family, now that she is in her mid 40s he decided to leave her as it is stressfull to maintain a big family!!   I was very happy to see the barrister I was workign with managed a healthy 3,500pm from him along with the cost of court proceedings!! The lady client was soo happy, she cired. I almost cried too!! No school, no work, not even shopping.  The cars are almost burried. The main road is greeted but there is no way we can get to the main road from our house. Its like quarter of a mile. When you feel like everyone around you is unreasonable...then it is clear the problem is not outside...its inside of you. I am normally not like this...I mean...as a gemini...I am normally a smooth talker and a reasonable person. I can handle conflicts with rather ease...or ignore them all together. I normally do not take things too seriously.But..its been different lately.... its just...I just can't control myself....somehow I am just getting into this nasty arguments, heated debates for no appearent reasons. Its even giving me spilting headaches.   ...and eventually I have managed to end up with a big  heated argument with my mother today...which is  a very very unusual thing for me to get into. Normally I am the one my mother depends and rely on. But this time...I just couldn't deal with her childish stubborness....or may be it was me...who was childish and stubborn this time? This is something I day dream  of most of the time. This is the thing I think of everytime I buy a lottery ticket! So I said instantly: I will buy a BIG house with a BIG garden and swimming pool. I will have my own study  with lateste music system, and  my own gym...and have a couple of people to take care of my house, like  doing the cleaning and stuff (I hate cleaning!). He smiled to my response and said: oh...you are easy to please!   I was not only surprised by his comment by taken aback too. Is this what you call easy to please desire of a woman?! I am sure any guy of and around my age will run away from me if I ever say this to them!..And even I know, its a dream...may be just a dream...nothing else!!
